He was a lifelong Sarasota resident from the age of 5. He was predeceased by : his father Charles M. Williams, Sr.. Charles Lee Williams Sr was born Feb 20, 1937 to John Russell and Irene (Malloy) in Polk County, FL. He was the maternal grandson of the late Burlie Nayles Polk and Willie "Bumblebee" Williams.
